I'm so sorry about your dad. - I'm Blair Andersen. - John was a major part of the successful concerts we did a couple of years ago. - What an incredible player and what an 'amazing' young man. - I'm so grateful to have known him. - All of us in 'that group' - "Bridges" will miss him very much. - He was a big part of us. - We have some pretty cool pictures of him too. - Let me know if you would like them. -
ReplyDeleteMy wife and I are out of town so I'll see if Brittany, My daughter, can come the his funeral. - I love you. - Blair (599-6622)
I am sorry to hear the sad news. John is a great man, and I will miss him dearly. I am Eric Baggaley, a co-worker at several companies John worked for from Auto-Soft to AMAT to Romaric. He has always done a great job and been a good friend. My prayers go out to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteI loved your dad. He was a gifted musician, putting his heart into his playing. When he would accompany people who sang I found it more enjoyable to focus on his craft than the choir, group or soloist. Although he never intruded, always supported, yet what he did was art. His whole life was like that. If you took the time to notice, you saw something beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOur thoughts and prayers are with your family during this very trying time. Please let us know if there is anything that we can do.

John is a great man and I like him a lot. When we worked together, we discovered that we enjoyed a lot of the same music. I find the lyrics to two songs from one our favorite artists quite fitting with a message of hope and faith.

"Where Are You Now" by Ronan Hardiman (Anthem)
Where ever you go, I will follow you.
Where are you? Where are you now?
Where are you? Where are you now?
Tell me,
Where are you? Where are you now?
Where are you? Where are you now?
Where ever you go, I will follow you.
Where ever you go, I will follow.
Where are you? Where are you now?
Where are you? Where are you now? . . .
"Heaven" by Ronan Hardiman (Anthem)
Heaven, heaven, always let it be.
A star shining in a universe far away.
My heart knows that we shall meet again some sweet day.
And you, you will be the flame that burns in my breast.
And oh, I know just by knowing you I was blessed,
Yes, I was truly blessed.
Heaven, heaven, waiting there for me,
Heaven, heaven, always let it be.
So why, tell my why the good die young my old friend
I pray that heaven waits for everyone in the end.
And love, love is how we cross that bridge to the light.
A star, that is what you are in my darkest night,
Be always by my side.
Heaven, heaven, waiting there for me,
Heaven, heaven, always let it be.
I turned around and you were gone,
cold like a rose budd in a frost.
Pray for those who carry on,
And for the loved ones already lost.
Heaven, heaven, waiting there for me,
Heaven, heaven, (waits for everyone) always let it be.
Heaven, heaven, waiting there for me,
Heaven, heaven, (waits for everyone) always let it be.
Heaven (a star shines bright), heaven (for everyone), waiting there for me,
Heaven, heaven, (waits for everyone) always let it be.

ReplyDeleteFlight
by Claire Perkins
I stopped to watch the birds in flight
Though day was done, ’twas not quite night
The sinking sun set wings aglow
They swerved and dived and turned just so -
And disappeared before my eyes
I caught my breath in sharp surprise
Then suddenly it all was clear
As wings did shift and reappear
They were still there, though gone from sight
Still strong and graceful in their flight
When turned toward light they’re lost from view
Yet ever to their path are true
With wings aglow we’re all in flight
And when we’ve turned toward the Light
We’re never gone, just out of sight
Still on our path, still strong in flight
We love each of you dear Rona survivors!
